Ludwigsburg (dpa / lsw) – A drunk driver involved in an accident in Ludwigsburg tried in vain to put the blame on someone else. The 29-year-old called the police on Monday because his car was no longer ready to drive. He stated that he was overtaken by a stranger and that he was involved in an accident. Because he contradicted himself, the officers did not believe him. He had two per thousand alcohol in his blood. Police reported Tuesday that his driver’s license was confiscated and his car was towed away. In the end, he admitted that no other vehicle was involved. Presumably he lost control of it in the area of a construction site.
