The drone attack on the night of Wednesday led to grain plants starting to burn, according to the report.
At the same time, the Ukrainian air force says it has shot down 11 out of a total of 20 drones that were allegedly fired by Russia at Ukrainian targets during the night. The attacks were aimed at the area by the Danube as well as other targets in Odesa county.
The Danube region of Ukraine lies close to the border with Romania and is important for the country’s grain exports. There were strong reactions when grain silos and storage buildings were destroyed in Russian drone attacks here last week.
