A driver of a Japanese jeep with 1.5 ppm of alcohol in his blood caused an accident on the E-80 main road near the village of Podkrepa on the Haskovo – Harmanli road, Bulfoto Agency reports.
The driver of the struck Audi and the passenger next to him in the front seat suffered minor injuries. They have been examined and released for home treatment.
The accident closed the road Haskovo – Harmanli with a detour through the village of Podkrepa.
As a result of the head-on collision, one of the jeep’s tires blew out a few meters from the accident, miraculously no one was seriously injured.
