Dresden. On Friday afternoon, the shop detective at an electronics store on Dohnaer Strasse observed two men trying to steal a surveillance camera worth around 640 euros. The police announced on Saturday.
When he approached the accused after the checkout area, he was assaulted.
With the support of other employees, however, it was possible to overpower the two Czechs, aged 34 and 40, and to hold them until the police arrived.
The officers found other stolen goods and small amounts of narcotics in their car. The stolen items and drugs have been secured and the two men have been arrested. (SZ / sr)
