Dresden: police buses smeared after illegal party

Dresden. A mission to comply with the Corona Protection Ordinance in Dresden Neustadt resulted in damage to property for police officers on their emergency vehicles on Friday evening.

As the police confirmed on Saturday morning when asked by the SZ, the officers were called to Rudolfstraße at around 8:50 p.m. A local resident reported an illegal party with 10 to 15 people via an emergency call.

When the riot police arrived on site, they found six people in an apartment. Notices were initiated against these because of the violation of the Corona Protection Ordinance.

During this time, strangers sprayed two police buses that had been parked in Lößnitzstrasse with the words “Bullen Schwein” and “ACAB” in silver. A bus had to be towed because the windshield on the driver’s side had also been sprayed. The perpetrators were able to escape in an unknown direction.

The North Police Station has recorded the incident. Among other things, property damage is being investigated. No information could yet be given on the amount of damage. (SZ)
