A bad accident has thrown the beautiful Filippa Lagerback into panic: the presenter shared on social networks the news of an urgent hospitalization and some dangerous implications that involved her. But what happened?

The Swedish showgirl, born in 1973, began his career at just 20 years old, starring in a commercial for Peroni beer. In 1996 she starred in the film Silence… one is born by Giovanni Veronesi. In the last few days, the presenter shared a post on Instagram where she told about a terrible episode that hit her very closely. In the post she explained about the rush to the specialist, general anesthesia and the risk of infections that he had to stem. Here’s what happened.

Filippa Lagerback, a bad episode

It was supposed to be a quiet walk and instead it turned into a drama: Filippa Lagerback shared the moments of fear who forced her to immediately run for cover before things got worse.

The episode involved the former model’s beloved dog, Whiskey, that during a walk he caught a forasacco, which ended up in his nose. The forasacco is a sort of ear, a very dangerous grass for dogs and animals in general. This can in fact slip into the mucous membranes and ear canals of animals and cause nasty infections, due to its stinging nature.

“A matter of fractions of seconds and a damned forasacco got in his nose and he started sneezing violently and all the time ”wrote Filippa Lagerback. “I wasted no time and I immediately took him to the vet where he was examined with the decision to intervene immediately. Hospitalized and under general anesthesia they extracted the plant body, which if left inside it can create infection and further damage“.

Fortunately, the misadventure has been resolved in the best way and now the four-legged friend of Filippa Lagerback is fine. The fear, however, was great, and the damage could have been much more severe.
