DRAGUIGNAN: COVID-19, A dedicated consultation center in Saint-Exupéry

Since April 27, the Covid-19 Consultation Center at the Saint-Exupéry complex is only open in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on working days.

The Consultation Center team said that if activity were to increase again, these hours could be extended. Patients who present themselves there (only referred by their doctor, by the hospital, by the clinic or even in the absence of their treating doctor) will be looked after by a multidisciplinary team made up of administrative agents, first-aid workers, nurses and doctors. On site, they will be able to benefit from a medical examination and, if justified, a diagnostic nasopharyngeal test and / or a blood test, according to the doctor’s opinion and the recommendations in force. The Consultation Center is not a Covid-19 screening center. Reminder: patients with signs of severity such as chest pain, shortness of breath, shortness of breath or discomfort with speech should contact 15. Finally, apart from the problems associated with Covid-19, it is important that people suffering from chronic diseases or urgent acute pathologies continue to consult their treating physician, the latter having organized themselves in order to limit the risks of contamination within their office. In case of unavailability, and if the situation justifies it, they can consult an emergency structure.
