Dozens of migrants are missing in Turkey. They were on board a ship that sank in bad weather on a lake in eastern Turkey on Saturday. It is feared they could not leave the ship.
Six bodies were recovered from ship and helicopter searches, but Interior Minister Soylu says the ship had 55 to 60 people on board. 11 people were arrested in connection with the case.
According to Turkish media, the migrants came from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. The ship they sat on sank in Van Lake. Smugglers transport migrants across that lake at night so they can avoid police checkpoints on roads.
