Dozens of children from Bandar Bireuen Gampong immunized to prevent polio

Keuchik City BireuenAdnan Adam told Serambinews.com that in order to carry out polio immunization, village officials have been appealing to residents since Sunday and Monday (04-5/12/2022) by going around the village for people to bring their children at the keuchik office.

The number of children receiving vaccines is in the hundreds of children, for children aged 0 to 136 years 136 people, explained Keuchik accompanied by village officials.

For venues other than the keuchik office, there will also be events held at kindergartens/PAUDs and elementary schools in the local village setting.

With this immunization, it is hoped that the children of the community in Gampong Bandar Bireuen avoid getting polio and hope that everyone is well and that the growth and development of the child will go well, Keuchik hoped.

Urban village midwife BireuenRahmadayani, AMd Keb, during immunization activities at the keuchik’s office, said dozens of children brought in by their parents had been immunized against polio, two drops in their mouths.

For children who are already in school, the activities take place directly in the school.
