A new mod shows what it looks like when you play DOOM Eternal in the third person perspective.
It’s been decades since we started tearing apart the demons in the DOOM franchise, and the series is still very popular. So far, DOOM has been known to integrate more deeply into the game through its first-person perspective. But DOOM Eternal can now also be played in third-person view for the first time.
The series’ most recent feature, DOOM Eternal, was recently released and, as expected, received a heart-warming reception from fans and highly acclaimed media reviews. As a love letter from modders, the game has also received a third-person mod on the PC, which shows how much the game depends on its first-person view.
The chunky motion animation is probably the first uncomfortable thing that would convince you to go back to ego mode. In addition, the special kills with unique animations in third-person view appear to be less satisfactory. If you still want to try it out, you have to download the current version of the Cheat engine download and then only the Instruction Follow by SunBeam cheats.
If the developer himself decides to incorporate a third-person mode in DOOM Eternal, it would certainly not look so messy. Still, DOOM will always be the most impressive in its ego view.
