Menko Marves Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan talked about how he thought he was in charge of everything. Luhut said he was only taking care of what President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) ordered.
This was conveyed by Luhut in a working meeting with Banggar DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (9/6/2022). Luhut emphasized that he was only doing things according to Jokowi’s orders.
“I want to underline, sir, so don’t think about taking care of everything, no, sir. I take care of everything in my field and ordered by the President, I repeat, ordered by the President,” said Luhut.
Luhut explained that the implementation of the function of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries was in accordance with Presidential Regulation No. 92 of 2019. Luhut said he did not make it.
“I am also 75 years old, not young anymore, so I know myself. So yes, if I can do it, I will do it. But if you look at the function here, the implementation of other functions given by the President, this is not what I made. for this, Professor Yudhoyono,” said Luhut.
Luhut shows a pile of the implementation of the functions that he carries to members of the DPR. Luhut invited Jokowi to ask why he was often given assignments.
“So if, sir, look at this a to i, there is the implementation of ministerial functions and so on, there are other functions given by the president, so I just carry out the president’s orders,” said Luhut.
“Why does the President want to give it? Ask the President,” he said.
