What to do and what not to do during quarantine and in home isolation
Practical information about home insulation:
Do not leave your place of residence during home isolation. Limit contacts with others and do not accept visits.
If home insulation is done in a family house, it is okay to spend time in the yard or in your garden. In the apartment building you can go to your private balcony. In the case of an apartment building, it is possible to respect the necessary and short leaving of the premises – (throw out the trash, take over the purchase, take the dog out, etc.), of course, with the need for covered upper airways, social distance and disinfection of hands before leaving the apartment. It is also essential to stay in the common areas of the apartment building only for the necessary time, not to use the elevator. However, there must be a relevant reason for leaving the apartment building, because in the case of a breach of quarantine, it is questionable to prove that it was necessary to leave the place of isolation.
The basic preventive measures against viral disease include, in particular, thorough washing of hands with soap and water and frequent, sudden ventilation of rooms.
Disinfect handles, surfaces and objects that you normally use more often with products containing chlorine or alcohol. Use disposable paper and wet wipes.
Each member of the family should have their own towel. Also your own plate, glasses or cutlery, after use it is necessary to wash them in the dishwasher or wash them by hand in warm water with detergent.
An ideal solution for a positively tested family member is a separate room. If this is not possible, the room should not be shared with people at risk (the elderly, people with chronic diseases and weakened immunity).
Contact with other household members should be kept to a minimum.
The bathroom tested positively should be used last, then washed and disinfected.
In the vicinity of other people, wear a drape, use sneezing paper towels when sneezing, coughing and blowing their noses, throw them in a contactless waste bin immediately after use and wash your hands with soap and water (at least 20 seconds), or use an alcohol hand sanitizer.
