Don’t Follow Cebong and Kadrun!

Jakarta

Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil alias RK or Kang Emil was present at the Zulhas Award event. In his speech, he mentioned that the Indonesian nation is currently facing a major problem, namely quarrels.

He mentions the term ‘tadpole‘ and ‘frame‘ as a national problem. From that term, he said, Indonesian people don’t seem to be able to accept differences, thus triggering a fight.

“What is the problem of our nation today? I answer that today’s nation’s problem is that it is easy to fight. The presidential election is over, Pak Prabowo and Pak Sandi have worked together, but at the grass roots they are still fighting,” said Ridwan Kamil in his presentation at the Zulhas Award event in National Library, Saturday (29/1/2022).

In his speech, he also touched on the matter of kadrun-tadpole. According to him, this stronghold was formed due to differences of opinion as well as choices from different groups.

In the future, said Kang Emil, he hopes that the younger generation can bring peace. No more fighting just because of differences of opinion or choice.

“So I appeal to the younger generation to be water carriers, not petrol carriers. Be a generation that doesn’t bring violence. Don’t follow the tadpole-kadrun. That’s my message,” said Kang Emil.

He also provided a solution so that there would be no more fights. According to him, it is time for more dialogue.

The reason is, so far many parties have only done monologues. They refuse to involve others in order to dialogue, beyond monologues.

“I have a solution to this quarrel, which is to increase dialogue which has rarely happened. What has been happening is monologue, which should have been a dialogue between the left and right, discussing sensitive matters with respect, if you have different opinions, please. But don’t fight,” he said.

As previously reported, the National Mandate Party (PAN) held the Zulhas Award. This event wants to give appreciation and invite all parties to be in the corridors of modern Islam.

This event was also attended by a number of officials and regional heads who are predicted to become presidential or vice presidential candidates in 2024.

Also present at the location were public officials such as the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and General Chair of the Sharia Economic Community, Erick Thohir, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, and the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil.
