Donation: the Mohammed VI Foundation, Gabon section, at the bedside of the children of CHUL – AGP

Libreville, April 15, 2023 (AGP) – The Mohammed VI Foundation, African Ulemas, Gabon section, through the Status of Women, brought a smile to the children this afternoon and relief to the families of the pediatrics of the Libreville University Hospital Center (CHUL). In their hands, food and hygiene kits.

In the pediatrics entrance hall of the University Hospital Center of Libreville (CHUL), more than thirty kits lined up on the ground, consisting of packets of diapers, wipes, bibs, boxes of milk, cereals, sugar, pallets of water, chocolates, hygiene products etc.

It is the gift of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulemas, Gabon section, chaired by Imam Ismaël Oceni Ossa, who is also president of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs of Gabon (CSAIG). “As part of its active solidarity, the Mohammed VI Foundation wanted to offer you this donation. We were in other health units in previous years, this year it is CHUL’s turn to benefit from this new gesture. Hoping that it will really satisfy you or the children admitted to this service, during this blessed month of Ramadan which is a month of sharing. On behalf of the president and all the members of the Gabon section, I am giving you these presents to meet the needs of the rights holders and show our support for the families,” said Amina Farhane Gassita, secretary general.

Receiving these kits, one of the majors of this service, Jérémy Mitembo did not fail to express his feelings: “It’s a sigh of relief for our children interned here, who are already suffering with the disease and the staff that we are. We thank the authorities of the country who have set up this chain of communication and mutual aid which continues to have an effect even internationally. The Mohammed VI Foundation needs no introduction, it responds positively in several sectors in Gabon. We ask God to grant a long life to King Mohammed VI and to all the bodies that accompany us. »

The delegation then went around the rooms without forgetting those admitted to pediatric emergencies to distribute the kits brought to the beneficiaries, delighted to receive these packages on the hospital bed.

Through this gesture of great generosity which sprung up positively in the hearts of the parents, Maman Mirabelle affirms: “I am delighted to be a beneficiary. When we are in the hospital, it’s not easy because we are dejected and in difficulty with the sick children. This donation comes at the right time, it will really relieve us. We would no longer have to go out of here to get sugar, milk or retail diapers for the children. Really thank you to King Mohammed VI for this mark of solidarity at a time when we really need it. May God bless him”, she expressed herself, while wishing that this action will be lasting.

This donation is part of the charitable actions of the parent Foundation with vulnerable people (widows and orphans, people of the 3rd age), the poor and the needy, to come in help.
