The first episode of the Star Wars series “The Book Of Boba Fett” has been available on Disney + since December 27th. If you looked closely, you could see several allusions to other works from the Star Wars universe. A possible Easter egg was also acoustic in nature.
The “The Mandalorian” spin-off series “The Book Of Boba Fett” is about the legendary bounty hunter and his attempt to make the underworld Tattooines submissive. But Jabba’s successor alone is not enough, Boba Fett has to prove himself first. Various factions stand in the way of him and his companion Fennec Shand. Criminal cartels and syndicates in particular are trying to usurp more power.

In the first episode, Boba Fett and Fenec were attacked by masked criminals in uniform. These could belong to a particularly prominent criminal organization. Because the color pattern of the uniforms suggests that it is the Crimson Dawn Syndicate. This was introduced in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and is currently in “The Book Of Boba Fett” under the direction of Qi’Ra, the former great love of Han Solo.
In fact, there were several indications that the Crimson Dawn was involved. The melody that always played in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” when the Syndicate became active was also heard several times in the first episode, “The Book Of Boba Fett”. Anyone who has listened well to “The Mandalorian” knows that allusions and crossovers are often accompanied by the right melodies. For example, the appearance of Luke Skywalker in the final episode of the second season.
Whether the Crimson Dawn Syndicate and maybe even the Qi’Ra played by Emilia Clarke will appear in “The Book Of Boba Fett” will only be shown in the upcoming episodes. Fans shouldn’t hope for a return of Darth Maul, who turned out to be the real leader of Crimson Dawn. According to the Star Wars Canon, Maul is already dead at the time of “The Book Of Boba Fett” and Qi’Ra is in charge of the syndicate.
