The General Syndicate of Doctors denied what was circulated on social media about the arrest of doctors from the medical staff of Al-Hussainiya Hospital, following the video of the hospital’s deaths.
The Syndicate said in a press statement, today, Sunday, that “Following the news of the reservation of a number of doctors at Al-Hussainiya Hospital in Sharkia, to investigate the incident of the video incident of the deaths of central care patients due to the suspension of oxygen pumping for care, Dr. Osama Abdel-Hay, Secretary General of the Syndicate, communicated with the head of the Sharqiya Ayman Salem, who denied the validity of this news in whole and in detail, and that no doctor was taken from the hospital.
The statement added: “The Eastern Syndicate confirmed that there are investigations into the validity of the incident of the video, and the lack of oxygen, and the Syndicate is closely following the investigations until the truth of what happened is reached.”
