Brazilian President Jair Bolsonar is likely to undergo urgent surgery due to intestinal obstruction. This was announced on Wednesday, July 14, by the press service of the head of state.
According to her, the head of state will be transported from the capital’s hospital (HFA) to the city of São Paulo for additional examination and possible surgery.
“After the examination at the HFA in Brasilia, Dr. Macedo <...> diagnosed an intestinal obstruction and decided to transport it to Sao Paulo, where an additional examination will be carried out to determine the need for an emergency operation, “the press service said.
Dr. Macedu reportedly operated on Bolsonara four times after he stabbed in the stomach during the election campaign in September 2018.
Recall the previous morning Bolsonaro was hospitalized with pain in the intestines and incessant hiccups.
