Do you already know how to make rice with vegetables?

As these days there is some availability of vegetables in the markets of the city of Pinar del Río and their price, although still high, has dropped a bit, today I propose a rice with vegetables. Also to do it you can use some rest of edible products that you have left from the previous day.

Ingredients:
Two pounds of rice, six cups of broth and if you don’t have it you can use water and add a little packet of whatever substance you have, a carrot, a potato, an ear of young corn, a cup of beans, an onion, chili pepper, three cloves of garlic, two tablespoons of tomato puree, three tablespoons of fat, dry wine, cumin, pepper and salt to taste.

The ingredients vary depending on the availability of vegetables you have at home when making this dish.

Preparation:
Cut all the vegetables into squares and join with the previously shelled and boiled corn. Make a stir-fry with all the chopped seasonings and the tomato puree, add the vegetables and cook for five minutes. Add the rice with the water, salt and pepper. Cover and let it cook until the rice softens.
