Do not underestimate it.. Symptoms warn that your hearing is in danger

Although ear health is very important and must be maintained through regular check-ups, most people do not give it the same importance they give to symptoms related to other diseases.

A recent poll of 2,000 people showed that 65 percent had never gone for a routine hearing test.

According to the British newspaper “The Sun”, the three main symptoms of a real hearing problem appeared:

  • Ringing in the ears.
  • Misunderstanding what other people say.
  • Ask people to repeat themselves.

The research found that 80 percent of those surveyed would seek treatment within a few weeks or sooner for illnesses such as influenza, lumps or rashes, but when it came to a hearing problem, the number of people seeking treatment dropped to 55 percent.

And 28 percent were unaware that the longer they waited to resolve their hearing problem, the worse their hearing would be.
