DNB clients were mistakenly upgraded to “exclusive” Saga: – A human error

Several DNB customers received updates to their “exclusive” Saga customer program via email on Wednesday morning. It must have been sent by mistake.

Nettavisen reached out to DNB’s communications consultant, Vidar Korsberg Dalsbø, and asked what happened:

– An error has occurred and we will send a fix any time.

When asked how many customers have been emailed by mistake, he doesn’t have a concrete number, but says it’s a “large number” of customers.

– What happened?

– It is a human error which resulted in the wrong group being emailed. We will do our best to ensure that customers receive the correct information.

– We can reassure everyone that this is not a fraud attempt, but rather the result of a joke, says Dalsbø with a mild laugh.
