Again no victory! 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig won late at the start of the 17th matchday in the Regionalliga Nordost at Hertha BSC II.

Djamal Ziane scored in front of 659 spectators in the stadium on the pitch in the 84th minute to win for FCL.
BSC coach Ante Covic switched to four positions on Tuesday after the strong 1-1 draw against leaders Berliner AK 07: Goalkeepers Oliver Christensen, Christalino Atemona, Ali Abu-Alfa and Maximilian Gurschke started for Marcel Lotka (bank), Jamil Najjar, Anton Kade and Luca Wollschläger (none of them in the roster).
As a reaction to the bitter 1: 3 against SV Lichtenberg 47, locomotive trainer Almedin Civa rotated twice: Maik Salewski and Bogdan Rangelov pushed Robert Berger and Eric Voufack onto the bench.

Already in the first minute it became dangerous for the fourth place in the standings from Messestadt: Jan-Ole Sievers was far out of his box, but Abu-Alfa’s shot was decisively deflected. Luck for the Loksche.
The duel in the capital was lively and the hosts had the next chance: The game went over to the right, Florian Haxha found the cross into the center, who cleverly pulled away from Sievers, but the keeper was still able to parry strongly with his left arm prevent the residue (12.).
In the 25th minute it was Bogdan Rangelov, who played dangerously in front of the case on the left wing with the right instep, but Mike Eglseder could no longer reach the ball and missed the tour.

Overall, the FCL slightly had the upper hand, but also forgave the next big thing: Theo Ogbidi crossed into the center, where Ziane dropped for his neighbor who forced Christensen to parry in his first match in Germany (28th).
Again and again there were scenes in the penalty area, but goals shouldn’t result from them at first.
It was only after the break and after almost an hour that Sievers was asked again: The goalkeeper stormed out again with a long ball, thrashing the ball away from Abu-Alfa in dire need (59th).

The Saxons who played in yellow then found it extremely difficult to play off offensive actions. This was also due to the old lady’s second representation, who were able to keep the opponent away from their own goal in a concentrated manner.
But only until shortly before the end! A high flank flew into the Herthaner box, where Ziane’s head with an arc lamp made Christensen look old and scored the winning goal – 1-0 for Lok (84th).
The Probstheidaer pushed their way past FC Carl Zeiss Jena to third place, five points behind the top. The Hertha-Bubis remain thirteenth just before the relegation zone.

Lok has FC Energie Cottbus as a guest in the catch-up game on matchday 10 on Wednesday (7 p.m.). Hertha II will only meet Cottbus after the international break on November 20 (1 p.m.), but away from home.
