Barend van Deelen, DJ of Radio 538, got the international troll army of Kpop band BTS over him today. The radio maker had dared to say that the Korean band BTS speaks bad English. That’s why he is now a “xenophobic”, a “racist” and all of Radio 538 has to be canceled.
In general, K-pop is not a genre that has not been heard exceptionally often on the radio. But come on, thought Radio 538 DJ Barend van Deelen, let me be nice and play a record of the Korean pop band BTS. A nice gesture, but not one that appealed to the fans of this group of Asian singers. The reason? Van Deelen dared to comment on the command of the English language. It was not proper. “Hard to understand,” according to the lyrics of Van Deelen.
Well, the DJ knew that. One after another irritable racist who calls himself a BTS fan was violently shaking all over the place. The picture shifter would be a “racist” and a “xenophobic”. Because you would say that someone who just cannot be understood… simply cannot be understood.
But the truth is incredibly hurtful to the Kpop supporters, who immediately took to social media to set up a hysterical campaign there. Weepers came from all over Twitter, Instagram and other social media who said “#538isCancelledPartyAttempted to punish the radio station for not being nice to BTS. The hit even went international. Check de hashtag but: all kinds of crybaby from all over the planet who are whining about a comment from a Dutch DJ. Crazy right?
Let’s be clear: this is a sick cult. BTS are just a group of singers, and they are by no means beyond any criticism. The guys in this band are really not pathetic: they raked in about $ 60 million last year, and they really have to be able to take a beating.
So screw up with you bitches, BTS fans. With your tears you can build a sea to South Korea. Sail over there and give that ‘poor’ boy some English tutoring: then you will do something useful again.
