“Distorted or misinterpreted things”, Rabiot justifies his rarity in the media

Adrien Rabiot took place at a press conference on Tuesday the day after the draw of the French team in Croatia (1-1) in the League of Nations. The midfielder of the Blues and Juventus explained why he was not particularly a fan of his media obligations.

Author of a nice sequence this Monday evening in Split, Adrien Rabiot believed to offer a precious victory to the French team during the League of Nations. But the tricolor midfielder then saw Croatia equalize in the final minutes (1-1). A collective counter-performance which did not however take away his smile this Tuesday at a press conference. An exercise which the middle of 27 years is not very fond of.

“I have always been rather discreet in terms of the media. Often the few things I have said have been distorted or misinterpreted, indicated the left-hander of the Blues and Juventus. I prefer to speak as little as possible and be present on the pitch and doing what I do best rather than talking to the press.”

“It is magic”

Now at Juventus after starting his career at PSG, Adrien Rabiot feels good in the tricolor group. Even if it has not always been easy for him. After ten years in professional football, the one who signed his first contract in 2012 is proud of the progress made.

“I’m very happy, I tell myself that it’s very good to have arrived where I am. At the beginning it was not necessarily won so after ten seasons, having played so long at PSG then to be arrived at Juventus in an important club like Juventus Turin. To evolve with the French team at the highest international level, to have played in the Euros and perhaps to play in a World Cup, it’s magic. At the moment my assessment is very positive for me.”
