A storm over Frankfurt Airport in the evening has consequences for Hamburg air traffic. According to the Hamburg Airport website, several flights from Hamburg to Frankfurt were canceled on Thursday morning. On Wednesday evening it had rained so hard in Frankfurt am Main that the runway was half a meter under water. No planes could take off or land for hours. A total of 70 flights were canceled in Frankfurt.
