Discovery of a dead person after a search operation in Møre og Romsdal

The Møre og Romsdal police district confirms this on Twitter.

– We discovered a dead person. The search ends. Notification of next of kin is in progress. We have no reason to believe that this is anything other than an accident. The case will still be followed by an investigation to find out the sequence of events, write the police.

At the same time, they thank the volunteer crew who contributed to the search during the night between Saturday and Saturday.

– Today unfortunately with a tragic outcome, but the effort and desire to help has been invaluable, writes the police.

He was a 65-year-old man who was reported missing in the area late Friday evening.
