This is the article that sorae introduced on May 30, 2020.“Mystic Mountain” in the Eta Carina Nebula]image.

Part of the Eta Carina Nebula, the region commonly known as Mystic Mountain lies about 7,500 light-years in the direction of the Carina constellation.

Mystic Mountain is eroded by intense radiation and stellar winds from bright stars born in the Etha Carina Nebula. The pillar-like structures are dense enough to resist erosion, and within them new stars are born. The pillar structure appears to reach about 3 light-years in height.

It is believed that Mystic Mountain will disappear within the next few million years due to erosion caused by stars born inside.
