Disappointment for Macron and Le Pen in the French election

Macron’s party is at risk of not reaching the 10% required for participation in the second round next weekend. One of his deputies, Oror Berge, said that it’s a “slap in the face.” Le Pen’s far-right party seems to be in second place. Her party was expected to lead the first round of elections on Sunday and win at least one region for the first time. Le Pen is not running, but he is leading the campaign.
