Buying shrimp noodles at a restaurant, this buyer was disappointed with the appearance. The prawns are not as big as those in the menu picture.

It seems that photos of food in restaurants have a big influence on visitors. Most of them will rely on the photos depicted in the restaurant or menu book before ordering.
Then, they will hope that the food they order will match the photo. However, this customer was disappointed because his order did not meet expectations.

The visitor named Lim shared his experience when visiting the prawn noodle restaurant on Yishun Avenue 5, Singapore.
Quoted from Stomp Straits Times (24/11/23) it was his first time. He came to eat breakfast at around 09.15 on Wednesday (22/11/23).
He ordered the shrimp noodle menu which is priced at around IDR 70,000 per portion. In the photo, the menu is served with an abundance of fillings.
The noodles are served with kale, then topped with pork tail meat and shrimp which looks dense and large, so it looks tempting.

However, the prawn noodles came with very small prawns. If in the photo 3 prawns are served, then in reality only 2 prawns are served.
“This stall sells very small shrimp. The size is such that you can even put 4 shrimp in one spoon,” he said.
Not only that, the shrimp noodles are also not served with vegetables as in the picture. There are only bean sprouts which are very few in number and can’t even be seen.
“This is an act that blinds customers who are willing to pay. When I asked the restaurant about this, the staff just laughed,” he said.
