We are working with a premier international real estate fund that continues to expand its presence in Mexico. The fund has an exciting new position for a Director of Finance for the operations of a luxurious resort located in Baja California Sur, Mexico. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the finances of operations that include a broad range of business units, such as beach club, marina, golf course, retail, residential and homeowners’ association. The ideal candidate brings knowledge and experience in finance for and high-end hotel and residential developments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for senior management and external & internal stakeholders on the different operations and business units within the resort
• Ensure all accounting records and reports are being maintained timely, accurately and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures
• Work alongside operational and asset managers to develop a comprehensive strategy for managing the finances of the different entities and business units
• Support senior management on all financial issues related to the resort

YOUR PROFILE:

• Solid hands-on experience in managing the finances of high-end properties, including luxury residences, golf courses, beach club, marina and other recreational facilities
• Undergraduate or higher level degree in finance, accounting, business or similar study
• Solid experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Jonas system
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
