JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The South Korean entertainment industry has had to face a reality with three actors testing positive for the virus Covid-19.

Several drama productions have been impacted by this new case because the actors are related.

It is known that these three actors had direct contact and worked on the same project.

On August 19, 2020, actor Seo Sung Jong was reported that the local media had received a test result that showed positive infection.

The symptoms of Covid-19 have been experienced by Seo Sung Jong since August 16, 2020. Two days later he underwent an examination.

After his colleague tested positive, Heo Dong Won received a notification from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) and immediately underwent a test.

“Actor Heo Dong Won tested positive for Covid-19,” said the agency, Thursday.

However, with the test results coming out, drama Do Sol Sol La Sol also temporarily stopped shooting.

Thursday (20/8/2020) afternoon, actor from the theatrical Jjamppong, Kim Won Hae also found test results that showed positive results for Covid-19.

An official statement was issued by his agency, Double SG Company.

“Kim Won Hae tested positive for Covid-19 today (Thursday),” said the agency.

After receiving the test results, the agency canceled all of Kim Won Hae’s future schedules.

Manager Kim Won Hae has also been tested and the results are negative.

Kim Won Hae is known to have played in dramas Elegant Friends, Chocolate, Melting Me Softly, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Hwarang, and Signal.
