In Schmiedeberg we can still clearly remember what a flood can do. Therefore, the primary school and the Schmiedeberg high school are also active to collect donations for schools in Ahrweiler. Both use the path of a charity run for this purpose.
OB Körner supports the young runners
The primary school students completed their run at the end of September, as the friends’ association informs. The 264 girls and boys ran a sum that was topped up by friends of the school to 3,611 euros. This amount goes to the Aloisius primary school in Ahrweiler.

The Schmiedeberg Oberschule starts on Wednesday, November 3rd, a charity run from 12.45 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. in the foundry sports park. Here the result will go to the “Freiherr-von-Boeselager-Realschule” in Ahrweiler, informed practice advisor Elke Morawietz.
