Around 8 p.m. on Saturday, the firefighters intervened in the Hoyoux valley, upstream from the Pont de Bonne in Modave for an impressive road accident.
A Marchin motorist collided with an oncoming car. The car ended its race against an electric pole which lay on the road. The Marchinois died on the spot. An expert from the prosecution visited the scene to determine the circumstances of the accident. Observation by the Condroz police.
The electricity management company also intervened to carry out the necessary works. The road was blocked by traffic during the rescue operation.
