If you are on the street, you do not bring cash and you cannot find ATMs to recharge your universal Metrobús card, don’t worry, because you can do it with your phone.debit or credit card or if you prefer, from your cell phone or smartwatch.
The transaction is carried out through CoDi, the system that allows you to make electronic payments over the internet or mobile banking using QR and NFC codes without the need to carry cash.
How to recharge my card with my cell phone or smartwatch?
First, you must activate the payment option with your cell phone from your bank’s app on your phone or smartwatch.
Once activated, when you arrive at the station you must enter your Integrated Mobility card in the new machines, which will give you three options: payment in cash, bank or CoDi.
When choosing CoDi, a QR code will appear, which you will have to scan and then confirm the payment with either your PIN, fingerprint or token (depending on your bank).
Once the payment is accepted, the transaction will be immediate and your card will already have the recharge. The minimum amount for recharging is 20 pesos.
How can I pay with my bank card?
If you wonder how this payment method works, you should know that it is the same procedure, with the exception that here you will have to choose the option of ‘banking’ that appears on the screen.
When selecting this option, you will have to enter your card or use your bank’s app and wait for the operation to be completed.
