Did they go for a walk? Penguins visit a Chicago museum that is closed by the pandemic

Two penguins came to a museum. Did they escape from the aquarium and decide to go for a walk? No. The little ones belong to the Shedd Aquarium in Chigago, United States. Taking advantage of the fact that the Field museum of Natural History is closed, due to pandemics, they came to that place with a mission: to help promote its reopening.

Photographs of the unusual visit were shared by the museum itself on its social networks. Everything suggests that this is a campaign. The Magellanic penguins, named Izzy and Darwin, made a short excursion around the place and even recorded a video with their experience. The renowned museum will reopen its doors for its associates on July 17, while a week later it will be the turn for the general public.

Famous penguins

These two penguins have already gone viral in recent months. They had participated in other videos touring exhibitions while the aquarium, which reopened on July 3, remained closed.

It should be noted that the Field Museum is one of the largest and most important natural history museums in the world. In its facilities it has more than 20,000,000 objects of nature and culture.
