It is very respectable that they still try to make the game attractive with a map update, but this will not help as long as they don’t give the gamers the old battlefield feeling back.

I understand that it is an investment that has to be earned back, but the Battlefield gamer is not waiting for a map update.

When will EA/DICE read what is written? Battlefield gamers want the real Battlefield back, not 100,000 weapon customizations or super accurate maps to play in. They want the Bad Company back or the golden grip that was Battlefield 3. A few clear classes, with a few good weapons, even go without the OP FLiR scope. And now it comes …. Host a server YOURSELF at a good gamehoster where you have admins yourself who help keep the gameplay fun and bark everyone with dickmoves off.

We did this perfectly in the old GoTBF3 and later BUG community. Every evening with more than 100 people on the TeamSpeak over 3 or 4 servers, just fun fragfun.

I’ve blind bought all Battlefields to date many times in the pre-order, even Hardline which was actually a good game but maybe shouldn’t have been called Battlefield Until 5 … And I left 2042 thank goodness.

I’m afraid hosting a server yourself isn’t profitable or is seen as useful by the shareholders, but if it doesn’t go there anymore, I’m going to leave the next Battlefield next to me.

So get rid of your microtransactions and throw everything on graphic violence (which is also no longer affordable for new gamers) and bring back a good old Battlefield with this Battlefield feeling from the best EA/DICE.

But hey, I often dream…
