The films “Die Dohnal” and “Little Joe” have been awarded the “Extraordinary Production Achievements” prize by the collecting society for audio-visual media (VAM). The remaining Diagonale prizes will be awarded on June 30th.

The price is usually handed over as part of the diagonal, due to the CoV crisis, it has to be waited until autumn. The VAM prize was awarded this year to two award winners, each receiving 10,000 euros.
“The Dohnal” and a wide audience
The documentary “Die Dohnal” by director Sabine Derflinger (Plan C Filmproduktion and Derflinger Film) focuses on the politician and her tireless struggle for equal opportunities and self-determination for women, thereby helping to make “feminism understandable for younger generations as well . All other Diagonale prizes will be announced on June 30th at 7.30 p.m. in the form of a live ticker on the social media channels and on the website of the festival.
