Diablo IV Season of Blood: Rogue’s ‘Season of Blood’ Instant Kill Ability and the Controversial Unique Equipment

Although players have had many complaints during “Season of the Plague”, it is obvious that the second season of “Diablo IV” (Diablo IV) “Season of Blood” has greatly improved the experience. Rogue is the first to become able to “Season of Blood” Instant Kill” Level 4 World King and Lilith’s professions all rely on the effects brought by two unique pieces of equipment, the universal unique pants “Tibaote’s Ambition” and the unique weapon “Conviction”.

This discovery was made by the experimental results of overseas player wudijo. He found that after putting on the universal unique pants “Tibaote’s Ambition”, he often suffered explosive damage during combat, but this explosive output disappeared after taking off the pants. After a closer look, I realized that it was the special effect brought by this equipment.

According to actual tests, wudijo’s thief killed level 4 Lilith in an instant, and the damage was so exaggerated that it was difficult to see the number caused by each attack.

The effect brought by the universal unique pants “Tibaote’s Ambition” is “In the unimpeded state and within 4 seconds after the unimpeded end, an additional [20-40%][x] harm. When you enter the unblocked state, gain 50 points of primary resources. ” These pants can increase the Rogue’s combo points up to 23 points.

Coupled with the effect of the unique weapon “Conviction”: “When you consume 3 combo points, the damage of core skills increases. [20-40%][x]. The basic skill using this weapon has a 30% chance to generate 3 combo points.”

In other words, the reward effect of Conviction interacts with Tybaote’s Aspiration, allowing wudijo’s Rogue to deal extraordinary damage in an unimpeded state.

In the video, wudijo also admitted that this configuration is a bit too exaggerated. “I think, obviously, this should be corrected.”

However, just before wudijo’s surprising discovery, the day before yesterday, “Diablo 4” director Joe Shely said on the X platform that he was very happy that players were having fun in D4 and that they had “no plans to nerf” in S2.

If the Blizzard team changes its mind, we will notify Rogue players again.
