From these data, a total of 448 deaths were reported in 451 districts/cities spread across 34 provinces.
Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono said cases of dengue fever are always increasing from year to year.
Moreover, dengue fever is an endemic disease in the tropics and subtropics. “It is necessary to strive for public awareness to prevent the occurrence of dengue fever, this is a very important thing,” he said in a written statement.

Dengue fever is also included in the annual outbreak that continues to this day. People should be more concerned with the surrounding environment so that mosquitoes that carry this disease do not breed and infect humans.

1. Drain
Drain places that often become water reservoirs such as bathtubs, jugs, water towers, drums and other water reservoirs.
2. Close
Close tightly to water reservoirs such as bathtubs or drums.
3. Bury or utilize used waste
Reusing waste of used goods that have economic value. This can also be an additional preventive measure, such as keeping fish that eat mosquito larvae, using mosquito repellent, and installing screens on windows and ventilation.
