Developer Kaamos in Latvia will be led by Guntars Cauna :: Dienas Bizness

From June this year, one of the largest Estonian real estate developers “Kaamos” in Latvia will be managed by Guntars Cauna.

G.Cauna has previously worked in the field of real estate consulting, including several large transactions. In recent years, he has been a member of the board of several leading real estate companies and supervised the sales processes of these companies, and has been active in the implementation of development projects.

“I was addressed by Kaamos’ ambitions to strengthen his position in the Latvian real estate market in the coming years. Using the latest technologies, the company maintains very high construction quality standards and implements sustainable, energy-efficient residential and office building projects,” G.Cauna emphasizes.

Since Kaamos entered the Latvian market in 2019, the company has put into operation the first phase of the “Divi krasti” project in Ķengarags, which is already almost completely sold out, as well as the implementation of the “Hagen Quarters” project in Āgenskalns near Māra pond and “Moho park” in Mežaparks. .

In total, 60 million euros will be invested in these projects, providing a market with 51,000 square meters of living space. These are only the first projects in the Latvian market, and work is already underway to develop new projects.

Kaamos Group is an Estonian capital company founded in 2002 and engaged in real estate development, construction, wood processing, green energy, as well as investing in new companies. The group companies operate in Estonia, Latvia and Belarus, employing a total of more than 300 people. In 2019, the total turnover of the group was 69 million euros, but in the first half of 2020 the total balance sheet was 196.5 million euros, but equity – 114.5 million euros.
