In May 2018, the developers of Quantic Dream released the interactive thriller “Detroit: Become Human” initially only for PlayStation 4.
Implementations for the Epic Games Store and Steam also followed at the end of 2019 and 2020, respectively. A publication policy that should pay off for those responsible for Quantic Dream. As the studio announced, “Detroit: Become Human” recently reached the next commercial milestone and has now sold more than five million copies worldwide.

“Publishing Detroit: Become Human on Steam was a wonderful experience for us. The reactions we see have been incredibly positive, especially in the Asian markets. We’re also thrilled with the response we got from launching our community play expansion for streamers and viewers on Twitch, which made a basic single player game a social experience, ”said Quantic Dream’s Guillaume de Fondaumiere.
