According to information to 9 to 5 Mac Apple will be working on a new external monitor, “Apple Studio Display”, which will have even higher resolution than Pro Display XDR.
The 32-inch Pro Display XDR has a resolution of 6k (6016 x 3384) while the new monitor is said to be a full 7k. Which means that the new screen either has a higher pixel density of 245 PPI compared to 218 PPI, or that the screen is instead 36 inches.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, the new monitor is the same screen that the site reported on below in the summer of 2021 and which must be equipped with a built-in A13 chip.
