The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Friday, unable to dispel its relative excitement over the instability of the banking system, the expiry of several trillions of derivatives adding to the volatility of the place.
In early trading, the Dow Jones fell 0.56%, the Nasdaq index fell 0.01% and the broader S&P 500 index yielded 0.20%.
