The biggest joke of Boyko Borisov with the resigned Prime Minister Kiril Petkov was revealed by the head of the PG of GERB Desislava Atanasova.

We have not discussed an option to support a government of “We continue the change”, Atanasova was categorical in an interview for BNT, commenting on yesterday’s words of the leader of the party Boyko Borisov that he was ready to support the PP with three MPs. Borisov’s words blew up Petkov so much that they made him give an extraordinary interview to bTV to explain how dependent Borisov’s deputies are on his will and how he doesn’t want three people to support him, because then they would report to Bankya.
“We had a decision of the PG that we will not support a PP government,” said Atanasova. Borisov’s words were more of a joke, Petkov Atanasova explained.
According to her, early parliamentary elections are “the only chance for salvation”. “Mr. Borisov is the leader of the party and as such, the decisions are his, but they are also discussed at the Executive Council. I guarantee that such an issue was not on the agenda,” Atanasova said.
“Our parliamentary group has a weekly meeting with our leader, in recent months there have been many events and very important decisions to discuss and make,” she added. According to her, the introduced discount of 25 cents per liter of fuel is “another failure”.
“Many important issues are facing Bulgaria, and I think that Mr. Petkov should definitely reconsider his tone against the political opponent,” said Atanasova regarding the resignation of the prime minister’s qualifications for the GERB leader.
When asked whether the removal of the Petkov-Vassilev tandem is a condition for GERB for possible joint management, Atanasova answered: “We are not interested in what decisions each party makes. The conditions that are put to us too often would not refer to the same words or conditions, which we would put to other parties.”.
“For us, it is most important to have early elections. Red lines have been drawn for too long. There are already gaps between the parties and public sentiments, and the tone for debate must be reconsidered,” added Atanasova.
