The defending champions started overwhelmingly. The Prague team led 2: 0 in the fifth minute and scored three goals in both halves. Hattrick was scored by Stanislav Tecl, other goals were scored by Jan Bořil, Lukáš Masopust and alternating Tomáš Holeš. The Red and Whites recorded the highest league win since February 2017, when they won in Příbram 8: 1.
Sparta decided the match of the opening round in the first half, when Andreas Vindheim, Lukáš Juliš and then Bořek Dočkal hit twice. Peter Štepanovský lowered Zbrojovka after a break. Brno did not return to the highest competition after a two-year hiatus and its coach Miloslav Michálek premiered on the first league bench.

Olomouc won the league over Liberec for the fourth time in a row.
At the beginning of the second half, Tomáš Poznar sent a lead into the lead with a converted penalty, but Jan Navrátil equalized and captain Vlastimil Daníček turned the result around the penalty kick. Slovácko won the third of the last four mutual league matches.
The North Bohemians from Litavka are taking three points after seven long years and in the highest competition they have finished a ten-month wait for an outdoor victory.
