MotoGP 2020 Standings Update – Oliveira Champion, Dovizioso Approaches Quartararo at the Peak

BOLASPORT.COM – Racer KTM Tech3, Miguel Oliveira, came out as champion in the race MotoGP Styria 2020 at the Red Bull Ring, Sunday (23/8/2020).

This victory is a first for Miguel Oliveira brought the KTM satellite team to the first podium at the event MotoGP 2020.

Miguel Oliveira managed to grab the first finish line by recording a best time of 16 minutes 56.025 seconds, where the second position is occupied by Jack Miller (Pramac Racing) is 0.316 seconds adrift.

The third position is followed Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM) with a difference of 0.540 from Oliveira.

These results made Oliveira get 25 additional points to move up to 9th place in the 2020 MotoGP standings with 43 points.

Meanwhile, Miller, who is in seventh place, climbed four stripes to third with 56 points.

Then, Pol Espargaro, from 12th rank, went up two stripes to become 10th with 35 points.

For the top standings, Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) is still in first place with 70 points accompanied by Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) who is getting closer to second place with 67 points.

Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) remains firmly in fourth place with 49 points and Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha) has dropped two strips to fill fifth with 48 points.
