Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) elevated toll road direction Cikampek temporarily closed this morning. The closure was carried out due to the density of vehicles on the elevated toll road.
“Yes, the information is correct that the MBZ elevated toll road is temporarily closed. (Closed) at 08.10 WIB,” said PT Jasa Marga call center officer Rina when contacted, Wednesday (27/4/2022), at 08.19 WIB.
Rina said the closure of the MBZ elevated toll road was carried out because there was a density of vehicles. Currently, vehicles from Jakarta to Cikampek can only pass on the lower lane.
“Because there is a density of information on the overpass, so only the lower lane is used,” said Rina.
It is not yet known when the MBZ elevated toll road will go Cikampek will reopen. Rina said the decision rests with the police.
“There is no information yet because of the discretion of the police,” he said.
Kawarang Barat Toll Road Crashed
In addition, Rina explained that currently traffic jams still occur on the West Karawang toll road to East Karawang. Congestion occurs because of the density of the volume of vehicles.
“There is already a density in West Karawang-East Karawang, for information the kilometers start from around West Karawang Km 43 to 48, after that it will run smoothly again,” said Rina.
“Only the volume of vehicles, the increase in the flow of vehicle volume, yes,” he added.
