Corona demos in Dresden and the surrounding area: the police intervene

On Monday evening there were demonstrations in Dresden against corona measures. The police had their hands full with it.

According to the police, around 100 people were initially found at Postplatz in the afternoon, who were making their way towards Schweriner Straße.
Since meetings with more than ten people are currently not permitted due to the Corona situation, the law enforcement officers stopped the meeting via loudspeaker announcement.
About a dozen personal details were recorded at Postplatz. The people now have administrative offense proceedings on their necks.

Around 50 people had also gathered at the Friedrichstadt hospital. After they were approached by the police, this meeting also broke up. Around 6 p.m., a motorcade with around 120 vehicles started on Pieschener Allee in Dresden and led through the city.
After the cars had returned to Pieschener Allee around 7:40 p.m., the event ended. In addition, a group of about 40 people was on Prager Strasse. Here the identities of 35 people were determined and reports were issued.
In Bautzen, too, there were demonstrations against the Corona measures in the evening.

According to the police, larger elevators were blocked. Overall, the protests are said to have been peaceful. No one was injured in the events. However, the Saxony police reported an attack on an officer.
In the evening there were also demonstrations in Coswig, Radebeul and Meißen.
During demonstrations in Pirna, Saxony, several reports of physical assault and resistance to law enforcement officials were issued.
In the afternoon she had to Saxon Corona Emergency Ordinance to be adapted, so that not only the organizers but also the participants of illegal gatherings could be fined for violations.
