“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Pillar Training Edition” Set to Premiere in Spring 2024

The broadcast date of the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Pillar Training Edition” has been decided in the spring of 2024. It will be broadcast on Fuji TV nationwide, and the first episode will be a one-hour special. In addition, from February 2, 2024, the 11th episode of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith’s Village” and the first episode of Pillar Training, “World Tour Screening of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Miracle of Bonds” It has also been decided to hold “And then to the pillar training”.

The pillar training arc is a story that follows the fierce battle in the swordsmith’s village arc and Nezuko Kamado’s overcoming of the sun. Along with the announcement of the broadcast date, a “Promotion Reel 2024” using new footage from the Pillar Training Edition has also been released.

The number of theaters showing “The Miracle of Bonds, and To the Pillar Training” has expanded from 418 domestic theaters in February 2023, when “The First String Gathers, and To the Village of the Swordsmith” was screened in Japan, to 427. Starting with its release in Japan on February 2nd, it will be screened in more than 140 countries and regions.

This time as well, the main footage will be upconverted to 4K for theatrical release, and an IMAX version will also be screened at the same time. The music for the entire movie will also be formatted to fit different formats such as 5.1ch and 7.1ch, and will be optimized for theater viewing. The breakdown of the number of theaters showing the movie is 377 for the regular version and 50 for the IMAX version.

Prior to the release, advance tickets in the form of Mubichike cards will be on sale from December 22nd, with three types to choose from. Furthermore, stage greetings will be held around the world, starting in Tokyo on February 2, 2024, and ending in Hong Kong on February 25.
