At 31, DeMar is averaging 21.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists, being at a very high level. Undoubtedly the Celtics could use their incorporation very well even if they have to let some assets escape. Except for Tatum and Brown, almost anyone could go out to reinforce themselves with a star.

Would the Spurs accept the trade?
Since Boston is forced to drop pieces on contractual issues, it would be much better than being left empty-handed by losing its star as a free agent. With very little they receive in San Antonio it will be better than nothing.
