Delyan Dobrev: There are two options: GERB-DPS-DB Government and ITN or new elections

“After the initial shock and horror of the fraudsters’ conversation, it’s time to think soberly about what the options are. In my opinion, there have always been two.” This is what he wrote in your personal Facebook profile GERB MP Delyan Dobrev, after his party announced yesterday that they are freezing government negotiations with PP-DB.

„Option I:

Right-wing government with the votes of GERB, DPS, DB and ITN.

Pros: Stable majority of 142 MPs, 100% matching of priorities and programs, principled and correct positions on geopolitical issues, capable politicians and experts who can get the country out of the PP crisis…

Cons: I can’t see.

Option II:

Elections.

Pros: The party of PP crooks will go into oblivion. The real punishment/retribution in politics comes from the voters and I have no doubt that the PP will get what they deserve.

Cons: Sixth consecutive election, several more months of chaos and uncertainty, lack of budget, deepening of the crisis, etc.

I have been claiming for a long time that the key to solving the parliamentary crisis is held not by Cornelia Ninova, Mustafa Karadai or Slavi Trifonov, but by Hristo Ivanov. And this is a fact not only in this assembly. It was like that in the previous one, most likely it will be like that in the next one as well.

It’s time for DBs to man up and take their responsibility. They can no longer hide behind coalitions with the PP (a party that the DB have always been aware is a gathering of power-hungry frauds). Men’s times are coming. It’s time to show courage, statesmanship and responsibility to the voters!

PS And one more thing! If, despite everything, a kind of Frankenstein is formed with the participation of Asen Vassilev and the PP, the fault for this will be as much on GERB as on Hristo Ivanov and DB,” writes Delyan Dobrev in conclusion.
